100 word challenge week #19

The Prompt was given by video - it was cool.
It is The ground slowly parted

This is my story

Once upon a time there was a family of bears In America.  There was a mummy bear, a daddy bear and a baby bear.  They lived by a river in the forest.

One day they were looking for tasty fish as shiny as a coin in the river for their breakfast.

Suddenly the ground shook; it was an earthquake.  The ground slowly parted and a huge hole appeared right where they were standing.

The bears fell into the hole and they were scared.  They had to climb on top of each other to climb out of the deep, dark hole.

Luckily the hole was not too deep so the bears climbed out and they lived happily ever after.

Hello Rachel, I very much enjoyed reading your story. What a clever idea to use ideas from a traditional tale in your story. I was especially impressed when I saw that you are 6 years old. You are a fabulous writer. Well done.
You used a super simile. "fish as shiny as a coin".
I was pleased that the bears were able to work together to climb out of that hole. Keep on writing :)

Hello Rachel, this is a lovely piece for a 6-year old. Well done.
Poor bears! They almost lost their lives while looking for food. Thank God they made it out of the hole.

Hi Rachel. This is a great story - you are very talented for only 6. I hope to read more of your writing on the 100 Word Challenge in the future.

I feel quite sorry for those bears Rachel. In Goldilocks they get their food eaten & now they are falling down holes! Lovely story!
