Easter holiday by the sea shore
There is no greater joy than driving an hour to a bolt hole as comfy as our own home and feeling like we're a million miles away. Immediately we relax, slow down, start meandering rather than rushing and generally chill out.
This week we did just that; for five days we escaped the world.
We walked on the sea cliffs
Ate meals at friendly pubs with play-gardens
Visited deserted beaches
Enjoyed ice cream (holiday must do!)
Went to museums, farms and any random place that looked fun
Played games and watched DVDs
And had loads of family time which would have been distracted by the chores of life at home.
Everyone should schedule in regular time like this, it's a tonic.
